Right, folks trying to figure out Gameplay Camera System:

IT USES A FUCKING VARIABLE ASSET. Camera Variable Collection, basically works like an MPC.

So when you see a variable link that looks like, this bullshit? No explanation? Not a parameter in the usual sense, feed it a CVC.

Are you someone who knows who wrote the documentation on this system?

Shame 'em, ride their asses until they add a note explaining Camera Variable Collections, the very idea that there is a difference between "Parameters" and "Variables",

I don't care if it's "Experimental", that's beyond the pale

@glassbottommeg Have been working with Unreal on-and-off since 2.5 and their approach to documentation has always been "let the licencees figure things out on their own and share it on a mailing group / forum / YouTube, also let's see if we can appropriate their hotfixes to our bugs".

Unreal would still be using apples for navigation if not for my then (2009) teammate who just couldn't stand them and implemented a navmesh.
